What is Kinder’s Pay It Forward Program?
Our Pay It Forward Program helps support the effort to end diaper need by recirculating second-hand cloth diapers to families in need. When you donate your gently used cloth diapers to a nonprofit organization like The Cloth Option or another verified diaper bank, Kinder will reimburse your shipping cost in the form of Kinder shop credit.
How does it work?
- Pack up your clean, gently used cloth diapers.
- Ship them to a verified cloth diaper charity (like The Cloth Option).
- Email us a copy of your shipping receipt and the organization’s name at help@kinderdiapers.com.
- We’ll issue a Kinder shop credit for the full value of your shipping cost so you can treat yourself to something new in our shop!
Who qualifies?
Any customer who donates diapers to a recognized cloth diaper charity or aid organization and provides valid shipping documentation.
What counts as an expense toward my shop credit?
Shipping supplies and postage fees. Many of our partner organizations will ask that the giver covers the cost of shipping. At this time, the Pay it Forward program only reimburses for shipping expenses incurred from sending diapers to 501-C3s, like the Cloth Option. The program does not reimburse for the cost of purchasing new items to donate.
Is there a limit?
We currently reimburse one shipment per customer per quarter, but we encourage ongoing donation efforts!
How will I receive my credit?
Credits are sent as a digital Kinder gift card via email upon approval.
Why does Kinder offer this program?
We’re passionate about keeping cloth diapers in circulation and out of landfills. Our Pay It Forward Program encourages sustainable diapering while helping families in need access reusable diapering options.
